There are very few show cars out there today that can carry off both flash and quality. This '95 Del Sol owned by Mackenzie Marks from Newbury, New York is one of the few that can pull off the flashy style. The only way to be able to bring that attention up close and hold it is with quality, and it shows in a big way with this Del Sol. But wait, until just 3 months ago this '95 Del Sol was an everyday grocery getter; a students mode of transport. That's right, this build-up was a short but sweet adventure in the show project scene. After an ill-fated accident last summer, this Del Sol languished until three months ago (July of 2000). It was then that Mackenzie and her boyfriend, the Famous "NUB" of Nub Grafix, decided it was time to showcase their talents. Some of the best plans just happen by chance, and this project comes complete with an adventurous journey. While the two Tuners were on vacation in Florida, they noticed a set of wheels that they thought might look good on the Del Sol. And this is where they began the adventure that you see now. Just remember, like all tuners once you begin modding your ride, it can be impossible to stop. Take notes now, look where this simple purchase of aftermarket wheels led to. The famous Nub has gained a good rep in the New York area as THE MAN with the spray gun. We asked about his inspiration for this project, and he had a hard time explaining about it. Nub states that the creative process develops into something that can take control over you, and you just have to go with the flow until it's done. |
| As you can see, the girl is in a fighting stance, ready to pounce the competition. The Japanese fonts blend in well with the Asian theme. When asked what the text says, both tuners laughed and said it was a funny story, but punctuated their answer with "It says 'Honda.' " The body kit fits the aggressive hood scene. Providing the ground effects are a Wings West "Aggressor" full body kit. |
| These graphics are of the finest because of the way they flow from all aspects of the uni-body. Look in the door sills, under the hood, at the trunk. The graphics seamlessly envelop the car from all aspects. |
