Back at the AEM Civic Trailer Papadakis and crew
were busy trying to figure out not just the symptom but also the cure.
While the purpose built racer is a very complicated machine.
The engineering that went into building such a beast
also uniquely helps with the tuning process.
With his laptop hooked up to the Motec data logger
the crew were busy with the diagnosis.

Even with the problems the AEM Civic went thorough the traps
at 10 seconds. A respectable time but not what the racer
was even close to producing.

The next run was better but the gremlin
reared it's ugly head again.
Content to let the car sit and try again the next day,
this was the end of day 1.
