Street Tuners covers the 14 th. annual Nopi Nationals .

As the events of that week unfolded the
Street Tuners Crew
did not know if the show would go on .
Everyone will remember 09 / 11 / 01
And this day will frame the rest of our lives
as Americans !
And with that in mind the
President of the United States of America
told us the citizens to get back to our daily lives .
The Nopi staff took that message to heart
and decided to go on with the show .

This years Nopi Nats followed the previous shows
in that
it was bigger and better than ever .
The quantity of quality cars on hand
was simply astounding .
I am sure the judges must have had a tremendous
challenge in front of them this year picking from the
best of the best !

The crowds were at times overwhelming !
I wish that the Nopi Crew would decide to schedule this event for more than just 2 days .
There is no way to see every car or
peruse every Vendor display .
As usual the guys were out to see the
cars and the girls !

       

The party started early and went on for the
duration of the show .


       

The beer can recycling contest was a
closely contested event , however this crew
won out with the madhatters help !

The Street Tuners crew noticed a few trends
at this years show .
Wild graphics were kept on hold
and the clean look prevailed !
Also the Civic echelon was the smallest
we have seen to date .
There were Integras and Crx's a plenty .
And we have never seen such a mass
of quality cars in each category .
It seems the message has gotten out
if you want a trophy
go with something besides a Civic !
Quality was the order for this years show .
And participants flossing wild body kits with such
vibrant color coordinated paint schemes that seemed
to be wet enough to swim in !
