Kenny
Tran
Ultra Wide Body Supra
As owner of Jotech Motorsports
Kenny wanted to make
a statement that his shop and crew
were more than capable
of creating a Total Package Supercar.
All good tuners know that the Supra TT is a tamed beast in stock trim.
With carefully thought out modifications and performance parts
the 2JZGTE engine can be tuned for some very impressive numbers
off of the dyno machine. Kenny being a leader in the FWD unibody class
in the 1320 he is accustom to impressive numbers and power.
Kenny knew that reaching the power level with his supra would be an easy
task for his crew at Jotech.
His first order of business was to set his Supra apart from the rest.
With the help of New Concepts Autoworks in Plano Tx. Kenny set about designing
the Ultra wide-body stance.
By adding a total of 8 inches to the Supra's rear quarter panels Kenny
knew that this would allow the use of huge rubber and rims. The imposing
335 / 25 tires and 19x12.5 Racing Heart
C2 rims would make even J-Lo scream with envy. This Supra can pound
the pavement with this combination. Up front the nose got an additional
2 inches of overhang to help keep the Toyota planted at
double digit speeds. The various body panels were molded for a smoother
look. Erebuni, Millen, WiseSport provided New Concepts with the additional
parts that would help with the build-up.
The huge rear wing which was custom made adds that last bit of definition.
The laborious paint process was also performed
by New Concepts. Nearly a dozen coats of Candy Apple
were sprayed down on the custom sheet metal.

Wherever Kenny drives the Supra he gets attention. And this is a daily
driver.
The custom hood with its air ducts and
scoops serves as an outlet for
high under-hood temps to escape.
The JoTech Supra is a monster
no-doubt, however it does have the
clean look which came with a
concerted effort to keep the design real.
