Jeremy Lookofsky's All - Motor CRX

Jeremy Lookofsky has been tuning this CRX for many
years !
Beginning with a
Ls / Vtec motor swap .
Then going to a B18C and posting
high 11's Jeremy was hooked on
" All - Motor "
In the current state of tune this
CRX has posted a 10.68 @ 129.8 mph .
Quite a feat for a Front Wheel Drive
racer . But the story doesn't stop there .
Jeremy has taken the long tough road to
this quick time in the 1320 .
Jeremy and driver Shaun Hillier decided to go the
All - Motor route with this CRX racer .
Yes , no turbo , no nitrous , no supercharger .
Just the old adage that there is no replacement for displacement !
Choosing a pre-98 closed deck H22 prelude motor Jeremy's engine builder
of choice is R&D Racing .
R&D Racing's Darren SanAngelo
bulds huge engines with
astronomical Compression Ratios .
As of now the CRX is running
a 16.0 : 1 compression ratio !
Also Jeremy tells Street Tuners that the head work is where they have
gained an extra 300cc's of displacement .
Yes that is a 2.5 liter H22A prelude motor .
With high domed pistons with
huge cut-out reliefs in the top of pistons Jeremy says that his next engine
is going to have an
18.0 : 1 Compression Ratio .
And he has some secret
head work planned for the upcoming season .
Also there is an in - progress tube frame
all out drag chassis
with a 2001 Civic Coupe composite body .
With more power and re-engineered , improved traction Jeremy planS on
shooting for the 9's in the quarter .
Street Tuners looks forward to meeting back up with Jeremy next season
to see how they have improved their times .
Now on to the pics !
