Greg Chupp has taken his 99 SI and evolved it into
a total package supercar . Not only does the presentation
please , but the SI has the goods to back - up the menacing stance
.

Already powered by the infamous B16,
the DOHC has been massaged
for even more performance .
Carrying your bolt - ons was not enough .
Greg believes that in order to look good you have to back it up with Numbers.
Does a 14.5 @ 98 mph sound good enough ?
Now these numbers were obtained with
the full trim as you see here .
Wide - Body / full out sound system and all .
Impressive numbers considering all the excess weight , current rim selection .
The Street Tuners staff was particularly
taken aback by this
Monster Civic .

As you can see the rear
wide body has been seamlessly molded into the fascia and ground effects spoiler . Greg tells
of somewhere in the $10 G range for the body and paint mods .
A Lilac pearl sits on top of the factory
Electron Blue pearl .
The paint changes ever so subtly as the light moves across the surfaces . Greg states at night the car really gets the stares as the Lilac is brought out more in the more subdued lighting .

As the pic displays those
impressive 1/4 timeslips were helped with the addition of the
go juice .
A 80 shot was called
upon to get the legs up
and moving on the SI . However these are still very impressive numbers with all things considering .

Not only does the SI
go-fast
in the 1320 it handles the twisties just as well . Check out the front and rear Mugen Strut Bars .

A full system does really not explain quite what this ride can produce .
A 1200 watt MA audio amp
with dual crossovers supplies the 3 - JL Audio subs and
MB Quart component speakers .
