Giao Tran's 97 Toyota Supra

One look at this red
Special Edition
and you have a sense of
power and speed .

Giao Tran has owned the Supra
since 1997 and has taken it through
several stages of tune .
As a current employee at the Auto Show and Body Shop in
Forest Park , Ga. 404 - 366 - 7126 Giao and
his fellow crewmates
have performed the body kit surgery on this red supercar .
As for the Engine mods
Mahdavi Motorsports in Lilburn Georgia
took the 2JZGTE engine to the next level
producing 650 horse power to the rear wheels .

The Mahdavi Motorsports crew started
with the 2JZGTE engine
and upgraded
it with your basic Supra bolt - ons .
Everyone knows that the Supra engine
from the factory is bullet - proof ,
well designed and engineered .
The stock internals can handle a tremendous
up - grade in power .

Giao has taken advantage of the numerous
aftermarket modifications
for the Supra Twin Turbo .

Deciding to go with a single huge
Greddy T77 Turbo with a High Flow Intake from HKS .
And then choosing an HKS full cat back system
especially designed for the Supra Turbo .
Of - Course with all of the added air coming
into the engine Giao turned to Greddy for a
high flow fuel pump .
Added to the fuel mix are HKS injectors and a HKS VPC .
As well as a HKS Fuel - Cut Defenser .
To keep the boost in check an
HKS Boost Controller was called into action .

The crew at Mahdavi Motorsports dialed - in the HKS
Camshaft Gears producing the 650 BPH !

To bring all this added power
to the ground an
up - graded clutch
was needed and Giao choose
a Clutch Master Stage - III unit .

Next on the list are the body mods and Bob Vu was called on to perform his magic in molding
the Type - V body kit
onto the Supra .
A set of  LowenHeart 18" rims keep
the power to the ground .

Inside the cabin Various Autometer Gauges keep the driver informed of
the engines stats .
A full Carbon Fiber Dash kit goes nicely with the
Black leather Interior . A full Kenwood sound system was called into action complete with DVD player .


Giao Tran has taken his Supra to the next level .
